Figures computed from the anonymized reference agreements in the RISE with SAP (discount off list) dataset behind our in-app benchmarking tools. Aggregates only; cohorts too thin to publish are left out rather than estimated. Deal size bands reflect the ACV of the SAP component, not the total contract value.
RISE with SAP, discount off list deals in our reference book close at a median of 35% off list, with the middle half of deals landing between 25% and 46%. Deal size is the strongest single driver: agreements under $500,000 in annual contract value land a median of 20% off, while deals above $10 million reach 52%.
Beyond deal size, the infrastructure and services components inside the RISE bundle carry the most negotiation room, and Q4 (October to December) is SAP's strongest concession window. Buyers who open against credible market data reach 45 to 55% at enterprise scale, versus 30 to 40% negotiating off the list price alone.
